Many promising deep tech ventures do not fail because of scientific or technological factors, but because of avoidable weaknesses in preparedness, positioning, customers engagement and communication. This educational session will help participants recognise the most common bottlenecks that emerge during the transition from laboratory excellence to market and investment traction, while providing practical frameworks to anticipate and mitigate them early.
Through the combined expertise of four expert EIC Ecosystem Partners, attendees will gain actionable methods to assess team dynamics, organisational maturity, investor preparedness, and market credibility. Participants will also learn how strategic branding and evidence-based communication can transform complex technologies into compelling narratives for investors, corporates, policymakers, and strategic partners.
Case examples from real innovation journeys will illustrate how early decisions shape long-term fundability, execution capacity, and growth potential. By the end of the session, participants will define clearer priorities, reusable diagnostic tools, and a stronger roadmap for reducing risk and accelerating their deep-tech development journey.
The EIC ACCESS+ educational sessions are part of a broader effort to offer a practical and value-driven format to help EIC Awardees and Seal of Excellence holders navigate their most common challenges. Each session is led by experienced EIC Ecosystem Partners who share use cases, expert guidance, and actionable tools drawn from their service offerings. The aim is to help beneficiaries better understand the specialised support available within the EIC Service Catalogue, make informed decisions based on their needs and maturity level, and build meaningful connections supported by the EIC ACCESS+ initiative.
