EIC ACCESS+ is part of the EIC’s efforts to support the European innovation ecosystem. It aims to enable EIC Awardees, and Seal of Excellence holders to access specialised services from the EIC Service Catalogue, by offering financial support of up to €60k per beneficiary. The partial funding of the selected services will enable European deep-tech innovators to focus on growing and expanding.
Through a continuous call for applications, a number of 180 companies will be selected to receive a grant to reimburse the costs supported by accessing the EIC Service Catalogue. The grants will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis, following a thorough eligibility check of the applications.

The European Innovation Council (EIC) is an initiative of the European Union designed to support breakthrough innovations and high-risk, high-impact technologies. It was created to help European startups, SMEs, and researchers bring disruptive innovations to market, bridging the gap between early-stage research and commercialization.
The EIC provides substantial financial support through a mix of grants and equity investments, helping deep-tech companies scale and compete globally. With a budget of over €10 billion under Horizon Europe (2021-2027), the EIC aims to strengthen Europe’s role as a global leader in innovation, particularly in fields like biotechnology, artificial intelligence, energy, and quantum computing.
The EIC operates through several key programs, including the EIC Pathfinder (focused on early-stage research and emerging technologies), the EIC Transition (which helps move technologies from lab to market), and the EIC Accelerator (which provides financial support for scaling up).
In addition to funding, the EIC offers non-financial services such as mentoring, business coaching, and networking opportunities through the EIC Community, connecting innovators with investors, corporate partners, and other key players in the innovation ecosystem. This holistic approach helps entrepreneurs navigate the complex path from idea to market success.
