EIC Awardees include organisations participating in EIC Pathfinder, EIC Transition and EIC Accelerator awarded projects, including both running and past projects, as well as projects funded under the EIC Pilot 2018–2020.
Spin-offs stemming from EIC-awarded projects may also apply, provided that the project coordinator confirms through a declaration that the spin-off was created to exploit one or more project results.
Applicants must be based in EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries and demonstrate a clear link between the requested service and their EIC-funded project or results.
If the applicant is not the project coordinator, a written acknowledgement from the project coordinator must be provided, confirming the relevance of the application for the project itself or its results.
Review all the eligibility criteria before applying.
Please note that beneficiaries of the EIC Pre-Accelerator scheme are not eligible under the current EIC ACCESS+ Open Call. However, they are expected to be addressed through a new financial support scheme, likely to be launched in the first quarter of 2027. Pre-Accelerator beneficiaries will be informed once this new support opportunity becomes available.

The grant payment will occur after the service is concluded and will depend on the availability of funds from the European Commission’s FSTP Fund.

Applicants are selected based on eligibility criteria which are described in the EIC ACCESS+ Open Call. Applications are evaluated weekly on a rolling basis and awarded on a “first-come, first-served basis“ according to the timestamp of application submission, subject to eligibility and availability of funds.
Service quality will be monitored through the collection of feedback via questionnaires and impact assessments conducted six months after service delivery.
If the applicant fails to meet the requirements, it may lead to the termination of the grant. Applicants are expected to comply with all obligations outlined in the Grant Agreement to avoid such consequences.
The selection process duration can vary, but applicants are typically informed of the outcome within a few weeks after the application deadline.
Yes, it can appeal the selection decision by submitting a formal request to the EIC ACCESS+ project coordinator, outlining the reasons for the appeal.
The following documents will be annexed to the FSTP agreement: 1) a pdf copy of the contract between the service provider and the applicant; 2) a PDF of the application form; 3) the Declaration of Honour (using the template provided by EIC ACCESS+); 4) the project coordination consent declaration if the application is made by a project spin-off.
Yes. A Simplified FSTP Agreement is foreseen for applications requesting small grants below EUR 2 500, or reimbursement for participation in events such as conferences, workshops and similar service provisions.
Such applications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by the EIC ACCESS+ evaluation team.
Yes, services must align with the scaling challenges of deep-tech European innovators, and beneficiaries must demonstrate how the services will contribute to their project’s success.
Services are delivered through EIC Partners, who will provide tailored assistance, workshops, and resources as outlined in the service agreements.
While there is no strict limit on the number of services, the total financial support received by a beneficiary cannot exceed €60,000.

EIC beneficiaries should submit requests to access specialised services offered by EIC Partners on the EIC Service Catalogue before applying for the EIC ACCESS+ open call. You can ask for support in the process of choosing the right service or partner through the helpdesk of the EIC Service Catalogue or at info@eicaccessplus.eu.
For further information access the EIC Service Catalogue: How to choose a service provider article.
The application process involves submitting an online application through the EIC ACCESS+ Community Hub, where beneficiaries must provide details about their project, the services they wish to access, and how these services will address their needs.
Yes. The online application submission is open until 30 September 2026.
The call may close earlier if the allocated amount of EUR 3.45 million for Financial Support to Third Parties under the EIC ACCESS+ project is reached.
Submissions received after the deadline will not be accepted.
Applicants must provide information about their project, the specific services they are applying for, the expected outcomes, and any relevant information to demonstrate eligibility.
Applications will be evaluated based on eligibility criteria.
Once submitted, applications cannot be edited. It is important to review all information carefully before submission.
After submission, applications will be reviewed, and applicants will be notified of the outcome. Successful applicants will then proceed to finalise the Grant Agreement.
Beneficiaries are expected to provide feedback through a questionnaire on service quality, effectiveness, and overall satisfaction, which will be used to improve future service offerings.
Non-compliance with reporting requirements may result in the suspension of financial support or other penalties as outlined in the Grant Agreement.
Yes, beneficiaries will receive guidance and templates to assist them in preparing their reports and ensuring compliance with monitoring requirements.
Financial support is available under the EIC ACCESS+ funding scheme, but only for services listed in the EIC Service Catalogue and delivered by official EIC Partners. Consultant services related to EIC Accelerator proposals (such as proposal writing or success-based fees) are not eligible unless they fall under one of the defined service categories (e.g., Business Planning or Fundraising) and are delivered by a listed provider. External consultants not featured in the catalogue cannot be funded.
Yes, financial support can be requested under the “Access to Funds” package, specifically under the “IP and Legal” service. However, this support is limited to services provided by EIC Partners, which may include assistance with patent strategy, legal advice, or related IP support. Direct reimbursement of patent filing or renewal fees is not explicitly covered unless part of a service provided by an EIC Partner.
Yes, FTO studies may fall under the “IP & Legal” services of the “Access to Funds” package, provided that the study is conducted by an official EIC Partner listed in the EIC Service Catalogue. As with all services, only those listed in the catalogue and delivered by registered providers are eligible for financial support.
The EIC ACCESS+ program provides support for fundraising under the “Access to Funds” package. This includes services like investment readiness, due diligence preparation, and direct fundraising support. The financial support covers up to 50% of the service costs, with a maximum cumulative grant of EUR 60 000 per beneficiary. Services must be chosen from the catalogue and delivered by a listed EIC Partner.
The EIC ACCESS+ grant covers up to 50% of the total eligible costs of the selected service, while the remaining 50% must be co-financed by the beneficiary. This co-financing can come from the applicant’s own funds, national or regional public support, or other EU public funding sources, including the Horizon Europe grant.
Importantly, the combined public support, including the EIC ACCESS+ grant, cannot exceed 100% of the service cost. For example, the 50% co-financing may be entirely covered by the applicant, shared with a national or regional fund, or adjusted in proportion to EU funding already received for the service. If another public source funds more than 50%, the EIC ACCESS+ contribution will be reduced to prevent exceeding the 100% threshold; if it funds less than 50%, the EIC ACCESS+ can top up the remainder up to the allowed 50%.
Only EIC Partners listed in the Service Catalogue are eligible to receive funding under EIC ACCESS+. The cost of services, whether hourly or flat rate, must be defined in a formal contract and approved as part of your application. You cannot apply for reimbursement after the fact. The grant is paid in lump sums directly to the applicant (not the provider) in either one or two instalments, depending on the amount. External consultants not listed in the catalogue are not eligible for funding under this program.
Applicants must apply in advance through the EIC ACCESS+ platform for each specific service. Retroactive applications or reimbursements for services already initiated are not allowed. You may apply for multiple services (across different categories) up to the total funding cap of EUR 60 000, but not for the same service multiple times.
The open call operates on a rolling “first come, first served” basis, and applications are accepted until May 31, 2026, however, this deadline may be brought forward if the total allocated ACCESS+ budget is exhausted earlier. Applicants are therefore strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible to ensure access to funding. Once an application is submitted, evaluation typically takes a few weeks. If successful, applicants will sign a FSTP Grant Agreement, and all services must be fully delivered by the date indicated in the Agreement.
Once selected, you will sign a Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP) Agreement. If the grant is EUR 10 000 or less, it is paid in one instalment after the service ends. For grants over EUR 10 000, 50% is paid after signing the agreement, and the remainder is disbursed upon completion of the service. You must provide basic documentation, including the signed service contract and a declaration of honour. Reporting requirements are simplified thanks to the lump-sum model, and quality will be assessed via a follow-up questionnaire six months after service delivery.
More information can be found on the official EIC ACCESS+ project website.
Applicants can contact the ACCESS+ project coordinator or designated support staff listed on the ACCESS+ Open Call and the website for assistance.
Yes, the project organises info days and matchmaking sessions periodically to support applicants and provide information about the services offered. These events will be promoted by the website and other EIC information channels.
